30 Hours in Door County

This past Sunday we woke up early, packed up the car and drove up to Door County, WI. Call us crazy– we were only there for 30 hours– however, in those 30 hours we hit all of our favorite spots, went kayaking, swimming, made smores at the campfire and even got to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery with family. There’s just something about being up there that gives me a “peace of mind”. It is a special place.

JJ’s Restaurant Bar & Dock: JJ’s Whitefish Dinner — amazing!
Good Eggs:  Awesome breakfast burritos–we usually get the deluxe with everything on it.
Door County Confectionery: Mint Chocolate Oreos and caramel chocolate turtles
Rowley’s Bay Resort Bakery: Swedish Almond danish– it’s a hike from Peninsula St. Park, but so worth the drive!
Not Licked Yet Frozen Custard: Try their flavor of the day, also the butter pecan is quite delicious!
