Book Worm: Blood, Bones & Butter

I recently joined a book club through the Chicago Cooking Chicks and our last book was Blood, Bones & Butter by Gabrielle Hamilton. I am a huge fan of  books relating to food culture, and I found this book very captivating. Blood, Bones and Butter is a memoir about Gabrielle Hamilton, and her life as a “reluctant chef”. Gabrielle has lead an incredibly fascinating life and her story circles around her passion of food and cooking. Gabrielle is now the owner of Prune restaurant in New York City, which I would love to visit some day. I really enjoyed this book and Gabrielle’s style of writing.
