Barista Parlor is brand new addition to the coffee scene in Nashville, and we were lucky to visit while we were there! Barista Parlor is among a new wave of coffee shops that feature multiple roasters and multiple brew methods handcrafted by-the-cup. While in Nashville in the 12th Street Neighborhood, we made sure to stop into imogene + willie, a boutique-studio-shop of handmade denim and clothing. The store is located in a building that was once an old gas station and is curated like a museum. Arrangements and small installations of flea market finds and product work together harmoniously. Hatch Show Print in Nashville is a true gem. It is one of the oldest working letterpress print shops in America, and has produced many famous country music posters. O.M. Eats: Jeni’s Ice Cream
While we were in Nashville, I made it a point to make a stop at Jeni’s Ice Creams. The ice cream is homemade using delicious, quality ingredients, and milk that is from grass fed cows. Can it get any better than that? I had a waffle cone with one scoop of whiskey-pecan with another with salted caramel. It was heaven.
