The Button Lady

On the way back home from Ann Arbor I spotted this little unassuming antique shop and decided to wander in… little did I know that I would wander into one of the most amazing collections I’ve ever seen. Buttons. Thousands of them. Vintage, colorful bliss. The woman behind it all is Evelyn Gibbons. A very passionate woman, she repeated several times that you should “Always follow your dreams and passions” because this is hers. She explained that she has met celebrities, been photographed, been in movies, all because of this hobby/passion of hers. Quite unbelievable to say the least. It was hard to even think straight in there, as you will see with these photos. Yes… I did go a bit camera happy… but can you blame me? If you are ever in the Ann Arbor area check out the shop. It is quite the sight to see.
